Alex Itkis is a Los Angeles entrepreneur and the co-founder of PandA Enterprise Group LLC, the company behind ten same-day marriage chapels in California and New York and PandA Notary. Alongside those operating businesses he invests in real estate and in other companies. He built all of it from a single mobile notary business he started after college.
Roots
Alex is a first-generation American. His parents emigrated from Ukraine, and he was raised in Oregon. He speaks English, Russian and Ukrainian. Growing up in an immigrant family gave him an early sense of how much depends on the right paperwork at the right moment, an idea that runs through nearly every business he has built since.
He went on to the University of Oregon, where he studied political science.
A senior year interrupted
In 2020, COVID-19 upended his final year of college. Rather than wait it out, Alex moved to Los Angeles and started his first venture: a mobile notary service. He drove to homes, offices, hospitals and escrow signings across the city, handling everything from grant deeds and powers of attorney to full loan packages.
The work taught him the trade from the ground up, and he turned that knowledge into a course that taught others how to do it. The course became its own business. He put its income back into the notary operation, expanding it and automating everything that did not need a person.
Take a service people find slow and confusing. Make it fast, simple, and the same everywhere.
Ten chapels
That formula, a standardized service with customer acquisition run centrally so that a new location does not need a new back office, fit marriage almost perfectly. Alex opened his first same-day marriage chapel in Los Angeles, where couples could get their license, ceremony and filing handled in a single visit.
The model spread. Today PandA operates ten chapels: Married Today, Marriage Express LA, 24 Hour Marriage LA in Westwood, Same Day Wedding Chapel, Orange County Same Day Marriage, San Francisco Same Day Marriage, San Diego Same Day Marriage, San Diego 1 Hour Marriage, Oceanside Same Day Marriage, and Same Day Marriage New York. With partners Parker Alchanati and Andre Tolu he also co-founded Virtual Same Day Marriage, which lets couples anywhere marry legally by video under Utah’s online framework; that service now runs through Married Today CA.
The business that started it all
The notary business that started it all lives on as PandA Notary, a mobile and in-office notary for real estate, estate planning and everyday documents across Century City, Beverly Hills and West Los Angeles, seven days a week. PandA stands for Parker and Alex.
How he works today
Alex now manages the businesses and investment portfolio as a whole rather than any single trade. His focus is growth and operations: opening new markets, local search and business profiles, advertising and conversion, pricing, office expansion, and AI-assisted phone and scheduling systems that let a tenth location run without a tenth set of administrators.
Outside the operating companies, he invests in real estate and holds stakes in other businesses, including American Dream Immigration Consulting. The group operates in California and New York, with more states on the way.
He lives in Los Angeles.
