Alex Itkis

Alex Itkis is an entrepreneur and business operator based in Los Angeles. He is a founder and principal of PandA Enterprise Group LLC, the company behind a portfolio of consumer-service brands in marriage services, apostille and document authentication, notarial services and immigration consulting, with operations across California, New York, Oregon and Washington.

He studied Political Science at the University of Oregon and went into business rather than into the field he trained in.

His first venture was a notary business. Once it was running, he built a course teaching other people to do the same thing, and the course turned out to be a business in its own right. He put what it earned back into the notary operation, expanding it and automating the parts that did not need a person. That became the template for everything after it: take a service people find slow and confusing, standardise it, and run customer acquisition centrally so that opening a new location does not mean building a new back office.

He applied the template to marriage next. The first same-day chapel opened in Los Angeles, and the model reproduced cleanly elsewhere — the business now runs chapels in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orange County, San Diego and Oceanside, and in New York, with further states planned. With his partners Parker Alchanati and Andre Tolu he founded Virtual Same Day Marriage, which uses Utah's online marriage-licence framework to marry qualifying couples remotely, with neither party visiting a courthouse.

The document businesses came out of the same problem. Couples who had just been married needed their certificates recognised abroad, and that meant apostilles — a process most people meet once, under deadline, and find opaque. Same Day Apostille handles walk-in and mobile work in Los Angeles; National Apostilles, founded in 2024, handles state and federal authentication nationwide, with its own people in Washington, DC for documents that only the U.S. Department of State can apostille. He also holds an interest in American Dream Immigration Consulting.

His day-to-day work is growth and operations rather than any single trade: opening markets, local search and Google Business Profiles, advertising and conversion, pricing, office expansion, and putting AI-assisted phone and scheduling systems in place so that a tenth location does not need a tenth set of administrators.
